It is simply outrageous to consider confirming the president’s personal attorney as AG. Among many dubious acts, this administration has laid bare that much of what used to protect our democracy was an implicit decorum that ensured the country intended by our forefathers remained a reality. The AG is and has been an impartial figure in American politics- not beholden to the president or anyone else. It is an institutional norm that has stood until today. By voting Blanche as AG, you are complicit in history of undermining democracy as we know it. This is simply outrageous and I implore you to protect our country and what it should be.
