The Protect America’s Workforce Act (H.R. 2550) is a federal bill with bipartisan support that would restore these rights for VA nurses, strengthening the care our nation’s veterans receive at Veterans Health Administration facilities across the country. Crucially, it would restore collective bargaining rights for all other unionized federal workers, too. More than one million federal workers – including more than 15,000 VA nurses – have had their hard-won collective bargaining rights illegally revoked by the Trump administration. But in the coming days, we can take a huge step toward winning them back with a vote in Congress! Take action by urging your elected officials to support this critical legislation.
