WE THE PEOPLE should come before Trump’s vanity projects.

I am writing today to request you to address the complete and total financial irresponsibility at the top seat of the American government. While simultaneously telling the American people that this nation cannot support its veterans, its unhoused, its hungry, its educational systems, its healthcare, etc., Trump is allocating billions of taxpayer dollars to destroying families and communities through ICE, DHS, USCBC, and military action that has been touted as necessary when it decidedly is not. He is willing to hand the keys to the kingdom to Netanyahu, including free healthcare for Israelis on our dime, but does absolutely nothing to improve the living conditions in the country he is SUPPOSED to be governing. If I miss so much as a dollar in tax money, I’m being fined or jailed. However, if the president does it- he gets to stay in office? Fiscal responsibility in these trying times should be among the most important topics on the congressional floor right now. WE THE PEOPLE don’t want a war. We don’t want our neighbors jailed or deported. We want healthcare, security, a living wage, reduced taxes, gas and groceries we can afford, a roof over our heads… Can we get some of that? Please?
