On 1/3, Trump launched a military invasion of Venezuela bombing its capital and seizing its president ... yet Congress has said nothing.
This was not a law-enforcement action, it was a deliberate use of military force (w/ elite teams) with no imminent threat to the US and no authorization from Congress or the UN, in direct conflict with international law.
As a reminder of what you should know, Congress alone holds the constitutional power to declare war, and by failing to act, object, or even demand answers, it has enabled this dangerous escalation.
Silence is not neutrality - it is consent. If Congress will not assert its authority, uphold the rule of law, and check an executive willing to bypass it, then it is Congress that must answer to the American people. This starts one member of congress at a time.
You allowed this to happen by rubber stamping egregious cabinet picks and so many other actions in less than one year.
If you are unable to take a position and rebuke these actions to protect American citizens at home and abroad and restore US position on the international stage, step aside today and allow someone else to do your job.
