To honor our great state of Ohio and our public education institutions, I urge you to consider how you’re going to protect Ohio from this Trump ramble. Look at this truth social post from 45. “All Federal Funding will STOP for any College, School, or University that allows illegal protests. Agitators will be imprisoned/or permanently sent back to the country from which they came. American students will be permanently expelled or, depending on on the crime, arrested. NO MASKS! Thank you for your attention to this matter.” This is an appalling lack of awareness and understanding of our freedoms from the constitution. Every single one of us has the right to protest. He cannot hold federal funding away from state schools because people don’t like him. “Illegal” protests don’t exist. The right to protest does. Students cannot and should not be expelled for expressing their right to free speech and their right to protest. This is ridiculous and insulting to American citizens and students who want to learn so they can better their lives and their communities. Impeach and imprison now! Will *The* Ohio State allow protesting? Can BGSU and Wright State have their freedoms intact? Will we have a repeat of Kent State? That was such a dark time in our history, killing of unarmed students. Have we not moved forward since the 70s? Are you going to allow Trump and Musk to set us back fifty years?? Do SOMETHING. Stop Trump and Musk from destroying our foundational and inalienable rights. Keep Ohio the great place it is and allow for people to express and utilize their emotions and actions to enact change for the better. Build up instead of destroy.
