His statements denigrating U.S. intelligence agencies and vowing to dismantle the FBI demonstrate a disturbing lack of respect for these institutions and the rule of law. Given these troubling revelations, I urge you to reject Kash Patel's nomination as FBI Director. His acceptance of money from a Russian source with a history of disseminating Kremlin disinformation, coupled with his expressed contempt for the FBI and intelligence community, fundamentally undermine his ability to lead the Bureau with integrity and impartiality.
