Vote NO on HR7661

To: Sen. Cortez Masto, Sen. Rosen

From: A constituent in Las Vegas, NV

March 23

Hello I am contacting you urging you to vote against HR 7661. This bill would block funding for schools that include books with transgender characters, lessons that mention gender identity, and programs and support related to trans kids. This bill defines transgender identity as sexual content. That means simply acknowledging trans people can be treated as inappropriate in schools. Transgender students already face a higher risk of bullying, isolation, and increased mental health challenges. Erasing them from classrooms doesn't protect kids. It makes them more vulnerable. Censoring identity sets a dangerous precedent. Every child deserves to be seen, safe, and supported that includes trans kids. Thank you for your time.
