Strike Changes in SB1011

To: Rep. Willoughby, Gov. Hobbs, Rep. Pawlik, Sen. Mesnard

From: A constituent in Gilbert, AZ

December 14

The right to vote forms the bedrock of a functioning democracy. However, the proposed legislation, SB 1011, introduces unnecessary hurdles that could discourage citizens from exercising this fundamental right. Rather than erecting barriers, our focus should be on facilitating and encouraging widespread voter participation across all segments of society. I urge you to reconsider this bill and instead explore measures that would motivate and empower more individuals to engage in the electoral process, thereby strengthening the foundations of our representative government.
