Stop Funding Foreign War and Domestic Crackdowns — Invest in Americans
To: Sen. Lee, Sen. Curtis, Rep. Maloy
From: A constituent in Salt Lake City, UT
August 20
Stop sending money to fund a war in Iran and stop bankrolling the domestic campaign targeting immigrant communities. We don't have the budget for either. Every dollar spent on military escalation abroad or enforcement operations at home is a dollar pulled away from housing, healthcare, and the working families who actually need it.
Immigrants are our neighbors, coworkers, and friends. They contribute to this economy and this country every single day. Treating them as enemies while simultaneously dragging us into foreign conflict is not a policy — it's a failure of priorities. I expect you to vote against any funding that advances military action in Iran and to oppose appropriations that expand immigration enforcement and detention. Put that money toward the American people instead.
