RFK Jr has proven, once again, that he is a dangerous extremist unfit for any position of public influence. His reckless decision to purge all 17 members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is an act of public health sabotage. This nonpartisan, evidence-based group plays a critical role in safeguarding our children and communities from preventable disease. His move to eliminate every single expert on the committee is not about reform—it’s about dismantling scientific consensus and replacing it with conspiracy-driven ideology. We cannot pretend this is normal governance. It is not. RFK Jr was expected—even by his own supporters—to uphold the integrity of this committee. Instead, he’s gutted it and is undoubtedly preparing to install his own handpicked loyalists—likely anti-vaccine zealots with no interest in science or medicine. This is a direct threat to public health, national security, and the foundation of rational policymaking. Congress must act now. Demand his resignation or begin immediate impeachment proceedings. We need leaders who will defend the truth, not decimate it. We are not going to sit back while an unqualified demagogue dismantles the systems designed to protect our families.
