Demand accountability for the murders of Iranian children! Silence is violence!

To: Sen. Booker, Sen. Kim, Rep. Kean

April 20

By now, it is common knowledge that the missile attack on an all girls elementary school in Iran was not accidental. It is common knowledge that the United States military, at the direction of Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth, used highly specialized guided missiles to murder over 100 children willfully and purposefully. Though the motivation has not yet been disclosed, it is widely believed that in murdering specifically female children to put a dent in Iranian ability to provide a next generation of children. Whatever the purpose- that is the purpose that was ultimately served. WE THE PEOPLE have been doing our due diligence. We are writing to you, to the Supreme Court, to the President and vice president of the United States of America. We are raising money. We are protesting. We are marching in the streets. We are defying the dictatorship that is fast arising in our supposedly free country. We are being detained for exercising our constitutional rights, and for protecting our friends, our neighbors, and our way of life. To date, MILLIONS of Americans have shown up on the behalf of what is good and moral. SOME of our Congress people have stood by us, as well. NO ONE in the Trump administration has lifted a finger to rectify their wrongdoing, even as the leader of the predominantly conservative Catholic Church and the leaders of the rest of the free world have begged them to do so. Last week, the parents of the murdered Iranian girls wrote a letter begging the pope for intervention on their behalf. The Muslim parents wrote to a Catholic leader for assistance, and that’s fine leader has taken it under advisement and made moves to see it through. Let that sink in. The Pope and a group of Iranian citizens have done more to demand accountability than anyone in the administration, and most of our Congress. This is unheard of. Be ashamed. Be ashamed of your silence. Be ashamed of your lack of action. Be ashamed of the leadership on whose behalf you serve. Be ashamed until the hour you decide to do something about the inhumanity of the Trump administration. Because until you do, we will lump you in with them.
