Senators, the American people are begging you to vote against the SAVE Act. We expect you to vote against all aspects of the SAVE Act and not pass any part of it because the President of the United States is threatening you and holding the TSA hostage in order to have it be passed. The SAVE Act is unconstitutional. It is illegal. It is voter suppression and it is a poll tax. And please don't respond saying the SAVE Act is simply about showing I.D. when we vote. There is so much more to the SAVE Act than that, and we already show I.D. in order to vote. Trump threatening and throwing temper tantrums in order to try to get his agenda passed is not the proper way to govern a country, nor is it a proper way for a president to work alongside Congress. We expect every Republican senator to stand up to Trump and let him know that his bullying and temper tantrums are not acceptable behaviors from the president. We expect you to vote against all aspects of the SAVE Act. We expect you to uphold your oath to the Constitution and to work for what is best for this country as a whole. Vote NO on the SAVE Act.
