Block Any Taxpayer Funding for Trump's Ballroom

To: Sen. Curtis, Sen. Lee, Rep. Maloy

From: A constituent in Salt Lake City, UT

May 25

Not one dollar of taxpayer money should go toward funding a ballroom for Donald Trump. This is a clear misuse of public funds, and I expect you to block any appropriation, allocation, or backdoor transfer from the U.S. Treasury that would benefit a private venue connected to the President or his family. The American public is not a personal piggy bank for presidential vanity projects. If Trump wants a ballroom, he and his donors can pay for it themselves. Your job is to protect the public purse, and I will be watching how you vote on this.
