The Trump administration's blatant defiance of federal court orders and the Supreme Court's ruling regarding the unlawful deportation of Venezuelan immigrants like Abrego Garcia is a disturbing violation of due process and the rule of law. By continuing to hand over detainees to the notoriously inhumane conditions of El Salvador's CECOT prison despite court orders to the contrary, the administration is perpetuating human rights abuses and undermining the constitutional checks and balances that are foundational to American democracy. This reckless disregard for judicial authority creates a dangerous precedent and constitutional crisis. I urge you to forcefully condemn these lawless actions, demand Abrego Garcia and others be immediately returned from CECOT, and take decisive steps to rein in this administration's overreach and restore respect for the separation of powers.
