I am sure that there is a place somewhere in each of you that knows having an out of control billionaire mucking around in the federal Treasury is a danger to all of us as American citizens. I also am sure that each of you is unwilling to cede your power to an unelected billionaire who thinks he has you wrapped around his finger. Then please show us. Show us you have some modicum of backbone, a shred of remembering that you pledged an oath to the Constitution of the United States. not to Donald Trump, not to Elon Musk. You all have constituents who will suffer from this. People who will no longer receive services, veterans who won’t get health care, companies that won’t get federal assistance, schools that will struggle. As each of your constituent, I challenge you all to be adults. Be actual patriots. Show us that you know what America actually does stand for the rule of law, not just when it is convenient for you and your corporate contributors. Musk is violating federal law. He is exposing every single citizen in the country to potential financial fraud. And he is making decisions that you, as our elected officials, are constitutionally obligated to make. Be the patriots you claim to be. Stop Musk from destroying the federal government, even if the Heritage Foundation is holding you hostage.
