An Open Letter

To: Rep. Crank

From: A constituent in Colorado Springs, CO

April 25

I am writing to express my deep concern about recent reports that President Donald Trump may be granting exclusive access or audiences to individuals who purchase or hold a Trump meme cryptocurrency tied to him. If verified, this would constitute a serious ethical and legal violation, potentially amounting to an impeachable offense. The U.S. Constitution (Article II, Section 4) specifies that impeachment may be warranted for "bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors." Offering privileged access in exchange for financial support—directly or indirectly—through a speculative digital asset could be interpreted as a form of corruption, quid pro quo, or even an unregulated scheme exploiting public office for personal gain. Such behavior would undermine public trust and set a dangerous precedent. I urge you to investigate whether this activity violates federal ethics laws, campaign finance regulations, or constitutional standards for officeholders. If evidence supports these allegations, I believe Congress should consider holding Mr. Trump accountable through appropriate measures, including impeachment. Thank you for your attention to this critical matter. I would appreciate a response outlining your stance or any actions you intend to take.
