An Open Letter

To: Del. Bagnall Tudball, Gov. Moore, Sen. Gile

From: A constituent in Arnold, MD

January 22

I am writing to express a serious concern over ice and the powers they have been " given" by Noem and the rest of the administration. If ICE agents commit crimes in our city or state, will they be arrested like anyone else? If they murder someone and flee the scene, if they beat someone during an abduction, if they break into a home without a warrant, will your office treat them the way it would treat any other person who did the same thing? Please publicly respond and demonstrate your strong leadership. Your constituents don't want to keep hearing about strongly worded letters or a fiery speech and then nothing happens. Say it and then do it. Fight or resign. Be the powerhouse we elected. Further action items I would like to see: - a comprehensive plan for all of the schools ( higher Ed to daycares) in regards to ICE similar to what California recently adopted - there needs to be a state run ICE watch alert system that you can call in alerts and receive alerts in real time. - oversight over detention centers - no new detention centers built in our state. At all. Thank you for your support,
