Tampering with exhibits about slavery at West Virginia's Harper's Ferry National Park is a dumbing down of our history, a waste of taxpayer dollars, and a betrayal of the purpose of these exhibits. We are strong enough to confront the ugly parts of our history in a place we can choose to visit, and it helps us better understand the historical buildings and features there. Stop this political activity from destroying our great American history!
