We have become a laughing stock on the world's stage- Our FBI director flew to Italy on our taxpayer money to party with the men's hockey team in the locker room, chugging down beer and acting like he was part of the team. This is happening while a prominent journalist's mother kidnapped, an attempted assassination on the President, we have still not addressed legal action against predators in the Epstein files, while Kash Patel is living it up like a frat boy. Our Secretary of Defense is posting "work-out" videos, bench pressing "350 pounds" and thumping his chest like a gorilla. Meanwhile two carrier fleets in the Middle East, planes, and troops are amassing near Iran waiting for the order to strike. All while Pete Hegseth is "working out" for all to see. What a deeply unfit and unserious man we have in charge of our defense. Our Secretary of Homeland Security has her own private jet paid for by us, complete with it's own king size bed. Now we know her boyfriend has been kicking in the cockpit door during one of their tax payer funded flights because staff had left her favorite blanket behind. Kristi Noem is busy running from one photo op to another dressed up in military gear and posting grotesque videos bragging about how they are blessed for being peacemakers. What a joke. Our ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee recently told Tucker Carlson that Israel has a right to take all biblical lands from the Sinai to Jordan to Syria and Lebanon simply because he thinks that is prophecy. We do not dictate foreign policy and "diplomacy" based off Biblical prophecy. Someone needs to inform him we do not live in a Theocracy. Reckless words have extreme consequences. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, has proven to be lying about his Epstein connections. This is disgusting and disturbing behavior for anyone, but unacceptable when it comes from a leader in our government. Our Press Secretary is insulting and denigrating journalist who dare question the administration, like she's a school yard bully. Meanwhile, she isn't giving journalists or the public credible information on the goings on of the administration, which is Karoline Leavett's job. Simply disgraceful. One of President Trump's advisors, Stephen Miller, openly calls for a white nationalist country free of immigrants, which contradicts everything this country was founded on. His cruelty towards immigrants, and "the other" should alarm anyone paying attention. And then there is President Trump. This week the leader of our country denigrating the accomplishments of female athletes, posting videos that inserted his image as winning the hockey game. He tried to send a hospital ship to Greenland, without their permission, while millions of Americans who are losing their medical insurance, access to care, and struggling under the weight of medical debt. Aside from the fact that these actions are deeply out of touch, how does he have time for his petty pursuits when our country is in the state it is? This is not a government, but a reality show dressed up as a government. We are filling once respected government positions with the absolute worst of us prancing and preening for cameras, while ordinary Americans suffer. The world is laughing at us and this makes us deeply weak and unsafe as a country. We have to get a grip on this situation before it is too late. Congress has to step up and use it's constitutional provided powers before the situation in no longer recoverable.
