I was at DHS early this morning and everyone in line was so grateful for a simple kindness- a piece of fruit or a cup of coffee. It struck me how positive and hopeful the folks waiting were; especially the children who were wide eyed and holding on tight to their parents. If THEY aren’t giving up on the American dream, with all they are enduring, I can’t either. Sir, it’s YOUR job to PROTECT the vote, not to SUPPRESS it! YOU must vote NO on the SAVE ACT that would disenfranchise so many. Stop the lies about voter fraud. YOU have sworn an oath to protect democracy for future generations. It’s YOUR obligation to make America worthy of the immigrants who work so hard to give their children a better life. You must stop enabling incompetence and work on behalf of the people to make make America what it promises to be for ALL of us.
