Yesterday you mentioned something in regards to House Bill 1002. You said, "And the more the state gets involved, the more troubles we have". This is funny to me because you are a total hypocrite in this regard.
You have no problem meddling in public taxes being taken away from public schools to go to private schools. You have no problem making less academic regulations for private schools compared to public schools. Yet you dont want the state to get involved because it causes problems. I dont know if you are having cognitive dissonance or your not very bright, but you are the government getting involved and causing problems.
You said, "we need counselors in the classrooms and social workers to help with the social-emotional needs of the children. There’s no two ways about it." Yet how can the public schools pay for those special jobs when you gut public funding?
Also, I hope you are making many very large donations to Every Child Can Read since your party cut funding for that as well.
