Please vote to Remove Reckless Federal Preemption of State AI Legislation. By depriving States of the ability to establish guardrails for AI —while there are no federal protections in place — AI companies would get exactly what they want: no rules, no accountability, and the ability to deploy products no matter the human harms. Kids today face an increasingly dangerous online environment but this bill would block any and all state efforts to protect our kids. With this bill in place, AI companies could continue to expose kids to hyper-sexualized AI companions, deepfakes, misinformation, emotional manipulation and scammers with total impunity.
