It’s November 1st and the government is still shutdown. You have completely failed your constituents. This administration continues to tell lies. About why it’s shut down. It isn't about undocumented immigrants getting health care. It's about cutting health insurance for millions of low-income Americans. Why do you continue to support this lie? Every day the shutdown continues means families struggle to pay rent, buy groceries, and cover medical bills, while our national security and critical government operations are compromised. It is Congress’s responsibility to uphold its most basic duty—to fund the government—and it is shameful and unacceptable to continue to drag this out for political gain. The Republicans control the House and Senate, it is your responsibility to stay in session and negotiate with the minority party. So do your job, find a compromise and pass the funding bill.
