As your constituent, I am writing to urge you to vote AGAINST HR 9495. This bill contains text from HR 6408, which is already covered under federal law 18 U.S.C. § 2339A, making the need for HR 9495 redundant. The only thing this new bill would provide is more power to the Executive Branch to curb free speech, and as a sworn defender of the Constitution, you should be adamantly opposed to limiting the rights of your citizens. Do the right thing, and vote AGAINST HR 9495.
