Are you going to stand by and allow this administration to harass and arrest members of Congress for doing their job, like Senator Alex Padilla who was arrested at a Kristy Noem press conference today when he was lawfully there in his capacity as a ranking member of the oversight committee on immigration, and he had questions for her And there's no law that says he can't ask those questions in a press conference. Yet he was dragged out of the press conference and handcuffed after being thrown to the ground! When are y'all gonna get your backbone and defend our democracy? We will win against him. You might be afraid but we're not afraid to die for this. I'm not. Everything this president does hurts another person who is at somebody's constituent. You will not be able to withstand the onslaught of public opinion against you for allowing this president to take away your job authorities and our freedoms. This immigration struggle is a sham. Somebody is making big money off putting black and brown people into private prisons that we're paying for. You need to stop this private prison stuff! Do your job! Defend the American people and democracy and your oath to our constitution!
