Vote No on Redefining "Employee"

To: Rep. Landsman

From: A verified voter in Mason, OH

July 24

House Resolution 1319 attempts to redefine "employee" in ways that will allow companies to abuse the workforce by divesting themselves of the responsibilities to provide benefits, time off, stability, and avoid taxes liability and OSHA regulations. Companies will 100% take advantage of this new definition in ways that will hurt the workforce AND consumers (but will increase their profits). At a time when the economy is already a wreck and average Americans are struggling to pay rent and buy groceries, we need to be vigilant to guard against policies like this that will result in widespread harm. Vote No on HR 1319.
