Reject discriminatory anti-trans bill, uphold equality and human rights

To: Rep. Ciscomani

From: A verified voter in Tucson, AZ

August 2

H.R. 1579: This proposed legislation blatantly discriminates against transgender individuals and denies them basic dignity. It perpetuates harmful narratives and enables transphobic behavior under the guise of law. Allowing people to access restrooms aligning with their gender identity is a reasonable accommodation that poses no threat. I urge you to reject this discriminatory bill that promotes intolerance and stigmatizes an already marginalized community. Instead, pursue policies that uphold equality and protect the rights of all citizens, regardless of gender identity or expression. A society that embraces diversity and human rights for all is a stronger, more just society.
