Defend democracy through participatory governance, citizen empowerment, human rights

To: Sen. Ernst, Rep. Miller-Meeks, Sen. Grassley

From: A constituent in Nichols, IA

April 15

Kilmar's continued detention represents a grave injustice and a violation of fundamental human rights. We call for their immediate and unconditional release, as their imprisonment stands as an affront to the principles of freedom, justice, and due process that should be upheld by any nation claiming to uphold democratic values. Kilmar's plight serves as a sobering reminder that the struggle for true democracy and liberty remains ongoing, and we must remain vigilant in defending these ideals from those who seek to undermine them through authoritarian overreach and disregard for the rule of law. Kilmar's voice must not be silenced, and their liberty must be restored without further delay.
