Trump's act of war in Venezuela is unauthorized, unjustified, and unconstitutional. No matter what word vomit comes out of the White House about success in toppling a foreign government or capturing its president, the move was unconstitutional.
Trump, by his own unjustified actions, has made the United States lose all moral authority to condemn other nations that attack their neighbors or carry out illegal kidnappings of foreign leaders.
Trump wants oil for his billionaire sycophants.
Trump wants a war to distract the public from the Epstein files and perhaps so he can declare martial law and avoid 2026 elections.
His so-called war on Venezuela because of drugs is false. His murdering men in fishing boats was never about stopping fentanyl from coming into the United States. It was about a demented man looking for power.
It is possible to despise Maduro AND to oppose this war as an illegal invasion of another country to seize control of its oil reserves.
Congress, it is time to do your jobs. Provide the checks and balance that the Constitution requires. It is not time to surrender your constitutional authority.
The majority of Americans do not want to be in the war with Venezuela. Americans will be killed.
Trump ran as the "no war president". Here we have another broken campaign promise. Let's put it more bluntly. Here we have ave another Trump lie.
Congress, it is time to remove Trump.
