I urge you to vote yes on AB 1642. AB 1642 establishes California's first mandatory, health-based standards for determining when a fire-impacted home is safe to reoccupy. Without AB 1642, safe recovery depends on whether you can afford a lawyer and independent testing. This bill creates a floor that protects everyone, regardless of income, insurance status, or immigration status. Please vote YES on AB 1642.
