Don’t cut Medicaid. Doing so would hurt all of us Floridians. Read this article in the journal Health Affairs: “Cuts To Medicaid Will Destabilize The US Job Market” by Kristi Martin and Hannah Katch. June 12, 2025. Cutting Medicaid causes job loss - the money in Medicaid goes to hospitals, clinics, nurses, doctors, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, nurses’ aides, and other health care workers, and also to builders, construction workers, food service workers - everyone in a community benefits from federal Medicaid funds coming into Florida. We are foolish in this state not to expand Medicaid, and you would be even more foolish and destructive to vote to cut Medicaid. Don’t hurt your constituents.
