Vote NO on SB1
To: Sen. Walker
From: A constituent in Fishers, IN
March 28
I am reaching out to express my strong opposition to Senate Bill 1 in its current form. This bill would cut $10.7 million from Hamilton Southeastern Schools over the next three years, leading to larger class sizes, fewer academic programs, and staff reductions. While I understand the goal of property tax relief, it should not come at the expense of our children’s education.
Public schools are a vital investment in our community, and previous state budgets have prioritized education funding. I urge you to support a solution that provides tax relief without undermining our schools.
Thank you for your time and for your commitment to our community. I appreciate your leadership and hope you will stand with students, educators, and families by protecting public school funding.
