I share concerns about the consequences of another Trump presidency and am eager to rally behind a Democratic ticket that can generate nationwide enthusiasm. While President Biden has accomplished important legislative victories, a generational shift may be needed to inspire voters, particularly young people, with a bold, progressive vision for the future. I urge considering fresh voices like Senator Cory Booker who could reignite the hope and energy seen during President Obama's historic 2008 campaign. At this pivotal moment, the Democratic Party should put forward a unifying, forward-looking message that contrasts sharply with divisive MAGA rhetoric and policies. A revitalized, diverse coalition is crucial to protect democracy and advance an agenda of opportunity, equity and responsible governance.
