The FEMA Build Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) grant program was developed to support small communities - just like those across North Ca rolina - to rebuild after natural disasters and prepare for future effects of climate change. That funding was revoked and suspended, leaving communities in need behind. This funding was already awarded to communities.
