An Open Letter

To: Rep. Casteel, Gov. Parson, Sen. Coleman

From: A verified voter in High Ridge, MO

May 15

I want to be clear is my opposition fo SJB 74 which denigns citizens of one person one vote. We need to maintain the current rules for citizens initatives and not make it harder for these popular issues to get on the general ballot. In fact I would like a law that allows those that do get approved by voters to have to stand for at least 4 years before they can be changed. This bill would allow 20% of the population to control the will of 80%. It is a bad bill that will disinfranchize the will of the people.
