Block Trump's directive to lift Russian oil sanctions immediately. At Trump's direction, OFAC has issued a temporary general license allowing Russian diesel fuel back into global markets — a direct violation of the sanctions Congress lawfully passed. With midterms 24 days away, Congress cannot afford to look the other way on this. Russia is actively murdering civilians in Ukraine, and this move funnels money straight into that war machine. Ukraine has already knocked out 45 to 60% of Russia's refinery capacity through targeted strikes. Rewarding Putin now, while he's on the back foot, is a strategic and moral failure. Congress passed those sanctions for a reason. Enforce them.
