I am aware that ICE has begin to be active here in Green Bay, and I am opposed to their presence here. ICE has been issuing subpoenas at local organizations and businesses, particularly major food processing plants like JBS and American Food Group). They are aiming to round up workers in our community, not violent gang members. This is not making our community safer. This is just threatening the safety of our neighbors. ICE has shown extensive problems and disregard for human dignity throughout the country, and I do not want that here. I urge you to protect our neighbors and to oppose ICE’s actions in any way you are able to do.
