The Buffoon in Chief
To: Sen. Moody, Sen. Scott
From: A constituent in Boynton Beach, FL
April 10, 2025
I hope this letter finds you well—perhaps enjoying a taxpayer-funded lunch while diligently avoiding eye contact with the Constitution. I’m writing with a simple question that I fear may go unanswered: How much of a buffoon does a person have to be before you stop pretending they’re a genius in a red hat?
Now, I don’t use the word “buffoon” lightly. For your reference, a buffoon is defined as “a ridiculous but amusing person”—though in this case, the amusement has long since curdled into national embarrassment. We’re talking about a man who stared at a solar eclipse, suggested injecting bleach, and mistook a Sharpie doodle for meteorology. That’s not leadership—it’s a walking, tweeting outtake reel from a reality show no one asked for.
And let’s be honest: the only truly qualified person Trump ever hired was Stormy Daniels. At least she delivered exactly what she was paid for, which is more than I can say for half his cabinet.
So I ask you, Senator: how much longer will you keep standing behind this man, hoping no one notices the circus tent? Or are you just auditioning to be the next ringleader?
Warmest regards (and I do mean warm—it’s getting hotter with all that climate change you’re ignoring),
