As a constituent, I want the Senator to oppose the budget reconciliation bill with all of its harmful cuts to vital government programs. Specifically, I am very much opposed to the tax cuts for the wealthy that will increase the deficit enormously. I am also very much against the cuts to Medicaid, that we all know are included in this horrible bill. This will cause many hospitals, especially rural ones, and nursing homes to be forced to shut. There are many, many other things in this bill that I oppose because of their cruelty and harmfulness, that I will not list now. Congress needs to pass a fair and responsible budget that helps working families and communities, not one that slashes our benefits to fund tax cuts for the wealthy.
