The announcement by President Trump to forcibly take over the Gaza Strip and potentially displace millions of Palestinians is deeply concerning. Such an action would not only undermine human rights and international law, but would also further destabilize an already volatile region. Forcibly relocating entire populations is considered a form of ethnic cleansing and a grave violation of human rights. Rather than unilateral military occupation, a just and lasting solution must be found through peaceful negotiations that respect the rights and dignity of all people. I urge you to strongly oppose President Trump's proposal and instead support efforts to restart credible peace talks, provide humanitarian aid, and promote reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians.
