Senator Schumer has published a list of demands he says Democrats have to manage ICE. New rules for the existing ICE staff will not work. The staff is not qualified or trained. We need to 1.Abolish ICE, 2. Prosecute those that broke the law, 3. Impeach Noem and fire Miller. 4. Set the ICE budget to last year's number. 5. Hire a qualified head of ICE and Homeland Security. 6 Rebuild ICE with qualified staff and the rules they should follow. 7. Somewhere in all of this assess who are wrongfully in detention camps and let them go. Please do not cave to a new list of rules. This departments' rot starts at the top. They're already bypassing the existing rules and the constitution.
