The Sun Sentinel has an incredible article “Before it was Alligator Alcatraz, this airstrip sparked fury and changed America’s Landscape”. I really hope you and all your staff read it. The history and environmental information in the article will really help you understand the issue, the myriad people who object to the concentration camp, and the reason that the site currently isn’t an airport. Then maybe it will be easier for you to do what’s obvious and oppose the camp.
