This egregious second breach of trust compounds the initial Signal chat scandal where Hegseth mistakenly included a journalist, demonstrating a pattern of extremely poor judgment that cannot be tolerated in someone holding such a consequential national security position. For the integrity of our armed forces' missions and safety of our troops, new leadership thoroughly committed to safeguarding classified information must be installed at the Defense Department without further delay.
