Constituent Opposition: Vote NO on HB 68 and HB 693

To: Sen. DeMora, Gov. DeWine, Rep. Russo

From: A verified voter in Columbus, OH

March 31

As a constituent, I am writing to express my strong opposition to the ongoing legislative attacks on transgender Ohioans, specifically HB 68 and the newly introduced HB 693 As my representative, I urge you to protect the fundamental rights of Ohio families to make their own private medical decisions without government overreach. HB 693, in particular, threatens the safety of vulnerable youth by undermining established standards of care and shielding practices that many major medical associations have deemed harmful. Ohio should be a state that welcomes all families and respects the Health Care Freedom amendment our voters have supported. Please vote NO on any legislation that further restricts gender-affirming care or targets the LGBTQ+ community. I will be watching the progress of these bills closely.
