I am writing as your constituent to express my serious concerns about Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and to urge you to take immediate action regarding his continued service in this critical position. As Secretary of HHS, Mr. Kennedy oversees agencies responsible for protecting public health, including the CDC, FDA, and NIH. However, his well-documented history of promoting anti-vaccine messaging and spreading medical misinformation directly contradicts the evidence-based approach essential for effective public health leadership. My specific concerns include: Mr. Kennedy’s promotion of debunked claims linking vaccines to autism, despite overwhelming scientific consensus to the contrary. His advocacy against childhood vaccination programs that have successfully prevented deadly diseases for decades. His platform’s potential to undermine public confidence in vaccines and other proven medical interventions during a time when maintaining public health requires science-based leadership. The Secretary of HHS holds enormous influence over American health policy and public health messaging. Having someone in this position who has consistently promoted views contrary to established medical science poses a direct threat to public health and safety. I respectfully urge you to call for Secretary Kennedy’s resignation or to support proceedings for his removal from office. The American people deserve leadership at HHS that prioritizes evidence-based medicine and public health over ideology.
