Shame on Governor Ron DeSantis. It is completely disgusting that he would in the middle of the night order FDOT to paint over and remove the rainbow crosswalk in front of Pulse nightclub. A crosswalk that served as a memorial for the 49 lives that were taken by a hateful gun man. His anti-LGBTQ agenda has always been cruel, but this is a new level. He is a hateful man, who has angered the people in a way not yet done and I ask that you hold him accountable for his actions. Let him know that the people of Florida will use our voice and our power of vote to ensure that people like him never stay in power. I ask you to please do all you can to restore this memorial and to send a clear message to the rest of the country that hate will not win. Thank you.
