I am writing to express concern regarding the behavior of the current administration. 1. “DOGE” has absolutely no right to interfere with the CFPB. This is particularly concerning given Musk’s recent run ins with the CFPB. There is a clear conflict of interest. 2. Trump’s recent comments regarding Gaza are absolutely unacceptable. The United States cannot be responsible for genocide. 3. I am yet again requesting that you use every means at your disposal to stop this administrations lawless behavior including voting no on all nominees and using the budget/debt ceiling discussions as necessary. There is no better reason to shut the government down than to stop this administration. 4. It has been revealed that our trans military folks are being denied gender affirming healthcare. Their healthcare is between them and their doctor and the US government has no right to get involved. 5. Colleagues inform me that “DOGE” was at NASA HQ today. Once again DOGE is operating illegally and Elon Musk has massive conflicts of interest with NASA given that about 35% of SpaceX’s revenue comes from government contracts. 6. These ridiculous tariff threats need to stop. Trump is going to tank the US economy because he doesn’t understand how tariffs work. 7. It is now being reported that stop work order are circulation the Dept of Education. Again the executive branch does not have the power to do this. They must be stopped!
