I was disappointed to see you vote in favor of Kristi Noem's to DHS. As governor, she has a record of inflammatory and racist statements and I don't trust that she will act with empathy to address our immigration crisis: rather, I expect she will utterly fail to do anything besides boost Trump's hateful rhetoric. Meanwhile, NJ voted for you for your compassionate leadership, and we still want to see that. A vote for Kristi Noem is a vote for continuing the ICE raids that are already terrifying our immigrant neighbors. I was disappointed to see you vote in favor of Kristi Noem's appointment to DHS.
