The president’s interference with independent, non-partisan government agencies has to be curtailed. President Trump is risking US financial ruin by meddling with the Fed Chair. Trump is compromising the safety of intelligence operatives and undermining the confidence of partner countries in the US intelligence community. He has also directed the Director to falsely interpret intelligence to make insane claims about past a President. Trump has lead to unnecessary suffering and erosion of US soft power by gutting USAID. Finally, and most obviously, he has weaponized and politicized the Justice Department by firing career officials and colluding with the Attorney General in covering up revelations in the Epstein files. The American people see this behavior and are appalled by it. Your enabling of this corrupt and deranged presidency undermines our government, ruins our credibility with other countries, threatens our safety. These effects will persist for decades.
