I understand that both Jeffries and Schumer may be effective politicians but neither of them is a good communicator to the people. Even *I* feel my eyes glaze over when they speak because they *sound* like politicians. We need leaders of the party who will be seen as energizing to both young voters, as well as independents and republicans who crossed over.
It is important to understand that the Democratic Party did not receive a mandate, only an opportunity. If we don’t capitalize on this opportunity, it will slip away in 2028 and will likely take the Presidency along with it. We need capable leaders who can also effectively communicate to the people when either Trump or the GOP erects roadblocks to moving the country back towards prosperity. They have served the party well, but it is time for Jeffries and Schumer to step aside.
